Illegal Cargo is a West Australian based record label and music publishing company. Formed in late 2009, Illegal Cargo Records was formed as a platform for emerging talent to showcase themselves to the world.
Our label division is proud to have artists such as Homero Espinosa,Vernon & Dacosta, Arco, Dave Miller, Brett Valentine and others, providing music styles such as Funky House,Deep House, Disco and soul.
As well as label activities Illegal Cargo also has a publishing division which is responsible for placing the label catalogue into licensing agreements for use in Television,Film,Documentaries,Video Games, and many other opportunities. This has led to the catalogue already being used in various channels across Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.
Also included under the Illegal Cargo umbrella is our merchandise and apparel line, including designs from leading Melbourne based art director Justin T. Hoyer. With products such as DJ slip mats, tee-shirts, hoodies, caps and more coming soon.
